Swamp Sparrow

With so many similar looking sparrows sometimes it is difficult to identify the species. Many places nowadays have local birding clubs and social media groups. These are always great places to get to know people and sometimes get expert help when needed with an ID. That was the case with this beautiful Swamp Sparrow taken near Gander, NL.
