Cold water diving

After approaching a hut along the ice of Minnewanka lake thinking there were people ice fishing, I was surprised to find that there was a group of divers drilling to create a spot for them to suit up and go underwater. Not for the faint of the cold, these adventurers dive during temperatures of minus 30 with no fear. A thick wetsuit, googles and an air-tank is the backbone of such an extreme way to explore the water.
