My ordinary day generally involves a lot of sitting and computer work, but this day was far from ordinary. An unexpected work perk lead to a helicopter ride over Jasper National Park and the opportunity to view our most photographic locations from a different perspective. The small island in the this lake is known as Pyramid Island for the view of the iconic peak behind it, but from this vantage point we see Pyramid Island as Pyramid Mountain does: surrounded by the calm waters of Pyramid Lake with the well-known Mt. Edith Cavell in the distance.
