Lake Louise, located in the Banff national park, is a unique glacial lake reflecting green and blue wavelengths of light stronger than other colors due to strong presence of glacial wash particles in the water. The lake looks even more bluish green (or greenish blue ?) from the top of a close peak, the Beehive. While the boat was leaving the frame, the light and shadow in the water greatly improved the composition.
