I lived in Smithers BC and decided on this last minute drive up to Alaska for the day. It may have been in Alaska's most southern point, but if this is any indication of the beauty that lies in the rest of it, I can't wait to explore the rest. This is a photo of the Salmon Glacier, the most beautiful place I have ever seen in person.
