After taking a red-eye from Ontario to Alberta, I arrived in Calgary a few hours before sunrise. Every time I visit The Rockies I start the trip by stopping at my not-so-secret spot just outside of Canmore that has, in my opinion, the best view of The Three Sisters. When I arrived, a few other photographers were getting set up. We all sat there, trying to stay warm and waited for the sun to rise. I captured this photo just as the sun was rising before I headed back to the car to warm up.
