It is very hard to show the scale of Lake Louise in photographs. It always appears so much larger in person. On one of my trips, I decided to take a hike up one of the many trails surrounding the lake to try and the canoes from a different perspective. The result was this image, even zoomed in, the surrounding trees tower over the canoe and paddlers.
