Winter for our family means loading up the feeder and waiting for the arrival of our feathered friends. First among them is Always the Chickadee ! They are not greedy being content to take one seed at a time and allowing me to be in their midst for extended periods of time. Of course the best is when they'll feed directly from our hand, hence the wonderful book 'That Chickadee Feeling' nothing quite compares !
