Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park is one of my favorite places int he world. I love to visit in the winter, when the snow softens both light and sound. I love hiking along a path known as the Twisted Tree Trail, where the towering lodgepole pines (which grow no where else in Saskatchewan) create a natural tableau of silence and grandeur.
