The October sun sets over Wascana Lake, with a view across to the Saskatchewan Legislature. Although the lake is actually artificial, a product of the damming of Wascana Creek, it is still known as the 'Jewel of the City' and is enjoyed by many seeking recreation, exercise and solitude.
