I would venture that not very many Canadians are aware that Saskatchewan encompasses the Great Sand Hills in the south west corner of the province. There are true sand dunes that one can climb in near solitude - they feel forgotten, if indeed they were ever known to any other than the locals who care for them. The Cattleman's Association has erected a "hitching frame", to which many boots have been affixed. These "soleful" keepers of forgotten jobs, jousts, jaunts and journeys.
