Ice is one of my most loved photographic subjects: it reflects, it refracts, it distorts, it cracks, it frames or encases: it has many wonderful and creative gifts to offer photographers. What better way to celebrate winter than with a visit to Quebec City's ice hotel, where artists sculpt ice into artisanal accommodations. This perfume bottle is an ethereal thing of beauty that will eventually just melt away on winter's tails.
