These pylons are all that remains of several salmon canneries on Canoe Pass, Ladner, BC. Fishing along the BC coast is a large part of our history, which continues to some extent to this day. I like the graphic nature of the pylons, and the Fraser River Delta could not be a finer surface to reflect the many moods of Pacific sunsets: this one a moody twilight blue on an ebbing tide.
