Tugboat Fascination

Tugboats always have my attention. My home is 13 hours from the ocean so tugboats are not something I see everyday. When we are visiting places where tugboats can be seen, my camera is used to continue to get the perfect shot of a tugboat. Will the color of the tugboat catch my eye in a picture? What is the background? I was staying at a hotel near the convention center in Vancouver and had a great place to watch for tugboats. This scene caught my eye. The snow of winter was high on the mountains. There was a barge leaving. This tugboat was also heading out into the channel. I had time to experiment with a few different settings and compositions.
