Lone tree on a hill

My favourite tree has stood for a very long time in a field in Penobsquis, NB. Back in the day when I lived in Hampton and travelled for work (before the opening of the current 4-lane speedway), I used the road that passed by that field several times a month. It was my landmark. When I passed it on the way out I always said, "see ya later!" and headed off on my trek. On the way home, as soon as I saw that massive maple tree, I knew I was only 20 minutes away from home and my own bed after days 'on the road' for work, nights spent in anonymous motels here and there. The tree is instantly recognizable by anyone who lives in the area!
