This photo of the Calgary Stampede Showband was captured during the 2019 Calgary Stampede, the last before the pandemic. For me, viewing it again is an almost surreal experience. For the first time in a century, the Stampede was cancelled in 2020. I long for the day when we can once again welcome our neighbors from the rest of Canada, and the world, back to Calgary.
