This picture was taken at the western tip of Lake Ontario in Hamilton, which tends to freeze up in the extremely cold winter. Persistent double-digit sub-zero temperature allows people to walk or skate on the lake transforming the frozen corner into a new attraction in town. This family was taking the chance that the lake was frozen to have some outdoor fun together.
