This year, due to hard work and conservation, our area saw the biggest return of Salmon (Chinook, Coho and Pink) in 30 years. When the Salmon returned it brought many bears down to the river to feast and fatten up for winter. The salmon scraps left over from the bears also feed the Eagles and other wildlife, including providing nourishment for the trees.
