While on a photography trip this November to Churchill, I had the opportunity to take a helicopter tour off the shores of the Hudson Bay. The ice was starting to form and we were able to witness this polar bear patiently waiting at a seal hole. These animals are incredible, at times going long periods of time between meals. They are majestic animals. It was such a privilege to be able to capture this image.
