Northern Spirit

I was on a polar bear photography trip in Churchill Manitoba at the beginning of November, when we had an unexpected opportunity to capture aurora. As an aside, it was a trip of a lifetime! In our first 2 days we were able to photography 20 different polar bears. It is was a magical experience, but little did I know that second night in Churchill was going to be every more special. I was super excited because I had been trying to capture aurora for over 5 years. That night, when we were on the shores of the Hudson's Bay, Lady Aurora started to dance for us...I captured many images, but was given a special gift that night...in the form of a Aurora Polar Bear!
