Due to COVID complications, we waited all summer (and fall) to get to Moraine Lake. We woke up early the day we finally made it and arrived at the exact same moment they closed the road for the winter season. After begging the Parks employees to let just ONE more car in, we accepted that we'd have to wait one more season to get our bucket shot. As we headed over to Lake Louise, rushing to beat the sunrise, we witnessed the most beautiful pink, purple and blue sunrise right over the edge of the mountain tops.
