Winter is long in the Yukon. However, Dawson City is a vibrant community, full of activities if you want to keep yourself entertained. It might be remote, but you feel like living in a very special place, a "safe bubble", especially during the summer, when the road to Alaska is closed and you litterally live at the end of the road.
