Looking like something out of a Kafka novel, the Brittania Mine a mineral processing plant, was once the jewel of the British Empire for copper production in Canada. Having been in operation for 70 years, the processing plant was finally shut down in 1974. Along with being named a National Historic site it currently remains open to the public as a Museum.
