This Abandoned Mining Van is worth a thousand words. After major oil was discovered in Alberta in 1947, the demand for railway coal declined along with the fortunes of Brazeau Collieries. In January 1955, the mine closed. This Abandoned Van demonstrates its history and is able to keep telling the mining history from one generation to the next generation.
