This photo was taken on a 35mm Asahi Pentax film camera on a roll of ISO 200 Black & White film. Beneath the bridge at the Old Mill subway station, where a series of gorgeous murals by indigenous graffiti artists Kwest and Jarus are found on the bridge's pillars. While the black and white film doesn't reveal the entrancing colours that were used to compose these murals, it captures the stark setting of Toronto during the transition months from fall to winter. My friend and I were humbled and full of gratitude to find these beautiful paintings while we explored the city. The mural shown in this photo is titled Grandmother Moon by the commissioned graffiti artists.
