This shot was taken on a 35mm Asahi Pentax film camera on a roll of ISO 400 Fujifilm. This photo shows the talented Stan in his studio in the Kitselas Village. Stan is a professional wood carver who specializes in Tahltan-Tlingit-Tsimshian style, whose artistic focus ranges totem poles to cut block printing. We were lucky enough to see his workshop while visiting our Kitselas colleagues during our geothermal fieldword in the Coastal Range of British Columbia.
