This was the first time I canoed in French River Provincial Park, and I was surprise how isolated the park was. In four days, I only saw one couple canoeing, and back then, I travelled over 60 kms. In the end of the 2nd night, the stars came out, and the beauty of it was surreal. I spent a few hours gazing the stars that night.
